I started DogHouse Dahlias in my back yard in 2002. All I had was a few hand-me-downs from my mom, who had more than she needed. I'm here to tell you Dahlias are addicting. They are very lovely, with each and every one of them having its own internal beauty. Pedal shape, size, color etc., every one is so different, but yet the same. I grew to the point that I had so many, I had no problem selling the extras to friends and others that happened to ask about them. The demand has grown, to where I have almost 100 varieties. In 2007 I will be adding about 30 to 40 more varities. Not all varities are listed here on my web site yet, , as I did not have a goog quality picture to go with it.
